Help Us Improve Font Burner
Although Font Burner has launched with over 1000 hand selected fonts, there are obviously a huge number of fonts that are not available here yet. With the countless fonts available it is a monumental task to sort through them and figure out which ones are worth adding. That’s where you come in.
You can help Font Burner in three ways. First, notice that there are stars next to each font on Font Burner. If you like a font click on the fifth star to give it a five star rating. If you think it is a crappy font click on one star. By ranking the fonts on this site we can eliminate the garbage and promote the good stuff.
The second way you can help is to recommend fonts that you think should be included here. Use the comments in this post to tell us the fonts you want.
The last way you can help us is by spreading the word about Font Burner. Traffic increases our advertising revenue. Please look at our advertisements and click on them if you find an interesting one. It takes money to improve our site and we get money from advertisements.

This is a very clever idea, and I think there are some positive aspects here, but I’m afraid you’ve missed a big fat chunk of legal reality in your FAQ.
Actually, it’s only legal if you own an embedding license for the fonts in question. I see a few foundries represented in your archive which don’t even allow embedding in their basic license. So unless you have special permission to embed them in this site you are breaking the license. Not to speak of the issues involved with transferring a license to another user.
Please check that you aren’t serving up commercial type illegally.
May 20th, 2008 at 3:22 pmIn your FAQ, you state that this is all legal. Could you please elaborate on that? I know that many of the fonts here are free fonts, but I’ve also seen a few commercial fonts throughout the site that would be illegal to distribute otherwise.
May 20th, 2008 at 3:28 pmI’ve only just come across this service and it looks good. I do have some concerns about accessibility of SiFR so need to look into that as more and more developers are using it.
