This is due to the IE8 bug detailed here:

It seems fontburner is using an older version of sIFR which causes this bug on IE8 when not in compatibilty mode. A quick hack to fix it is to put this code into the header.php of your theme, just after the <head> section:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7″ />

that seems to fix it for now but I think Fontburner needs to be using the latest version of sIFR so that it works without having to do this.

EmbarassedHi, Since installing font burner (this morning) the name of my web blog disappears as soon as I click on the login and goes from the name, "The Power of Words" to "XXX".  I am attributing this malfunction to the installation of font burner – even though I didn't edit that portion of my page – wasn't even on it!  Help….if I can't rectify, then how do I uninstall; I am most definitely not technically savvy!Frown
